My Story
I began making confetti 10 years ago when I had a balloon business and a customer wanted confetti filled balloons. It was an instant hit. I was then asked for confetti for a wedding and realised that this was also an area that I could add to. I started with heart shapes confetti and Circle shaped confetti. But then I was asked for butterfly confetti. So I set to creating new designs of confetti and started to make lots of different shapes of confetti. I have now created a big catalogue of Shapes and Colours. Although the traditional ones are still the most popular.
There is something about making confetti that I love. It is very confetti is therapeutic when you run your hands through confetti, it has a confetti calmness.

I love that I am helping add to someones special day. I love working closely with the happy couple with my bespoke confetti service to match their special confetti requests. I treat each customer as and individual through my personal confetti service that I offer. I love engaging with people and help guide them through the options/choices.
I hand cut all the confetti myself to custom order.
I am the only company that offers such a wide range of confetti shapes and am happy to develop another one with you if I don’t already have it. I believe if one person wants then another person will also want it.
My Ethics
I am passionate about things that biodegrade so it was important for me to find a supplier of biodegradable balloons and biodegradable tissue paper that also felt the same. I decided that I needed to be sure that my items were biodegradable and from the uk. I sourced a company that could supply this to me. The confetti tissue paper I use will generally disappear as soon as water touches it or within 7days.
The balloons take a bit longer. Latex is biodegradable. But it will take upto 2 years to biodegrade but it does and doesn’t sit in landfill for years and years like foil balloons.
Why Tissue Paper and NOT Petals
There are a few reasons why I only supply tissue paper confetti
The main reason is that tissue paper biodegrades faster than the petals. It dissolves with moisture and will disappear quickly. Petals tend to take longer to decompose into the ground.
I love a good wedding confetti picture. If you throw tissue paper confetti it floats and drifts slowly to the ground. It is a light product. Whereas petals are heavier and don’t float they just fall straight to the ground. So, if you want a good picture floating confetti is much better. It is hard to capture the petals in a picture.
The colour range of tissue paper is much more vast than petals. There is a much better chance that your wedding colours can be matched with tissue paper.
Cost is a big thing for me too. Weddings are expensive. The costs of tissue paper confetti is much less than petals.
There is one chance to get it right when the confetti is being thrown. Make sure you choose the right product.
Choosing your colours
I offer a large selection of confetti colours to choose from. The range at present is 61 colours strong and growing all the time. This can be overwhelming. If you would like to see your confetti colours in a confetti picture then if you request this in an email I will send you over a picture so you can see how they look mixed together. You can have one colour to 61 colours mixed together. You can have more of one colour and less of another the choice is completely yours. It is your confetti and its important to me that you are happy so I work closely with you to make sure this happens.
Choosing your shape
Shape of confetti is important. The most common shapes are Circles, Hearts, Stars and Butterflies. But I offer lots of other shapes. Some of the shapes are in the listings. If you have a shape you would like then its always worth asking me. I am sure that I can organise this for you. If you have a customised shape then I need 4 weeks to turn the confetti around.
Why do I measure in tablespoons?
It is really hard to measure confetti by weight as the different colours can weigh differently. This is why I decided to measure it as a handful which is equivalent to a tablespoon. It is also easier to imagine this than a weight measurement.
Why does the confetti look so little when it arrives?
When the confetti arrives, it has been compressed for postage. It needs to be put in a non-static vessel and then you fluff it up. Its like kneading bread, you run your hands through it. You will be surprised at how much confetti you actually have!
